The incident happened on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, when fire service personnel attempted to put out a strong fire, according to the GNFS.
This was stated in a press release on Thursday, January 25, that was signed and issued by Timothy Osafo-Affum, the GNFS Director of Public Relations.
Four firefighters were hurt during the operation, according to the statement. At the University of Ghana Medical Center, two of them were in severe condition and were sent to the Medifem hospital, where they are presently receiving care.
