In a press release issued by the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources on January 21, 2022, the Hon Minister has directed the Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Commission to suspend the registration of Maxam Ghana Limited and preclude it from manufacturing, transportation and/or supply of explosives for mining operations pending the outcome of the investigation.
