The Hon Minister has called for the interdiction of the Chief Inspector of Mines, pursuant of regulation 2 of the Minerals and Mining Explosives Regulation 2012 (L.I 2177) which holds the Chief Inspector of Mines as the Chief Inspector of Explosives directly responsible for the supervision of the manufacture, storage, transportation and use of explosives for mining and mining support services
