Ministerial Commission of Enquiry to Review the Mining Legal Framework

In the latest episode of the Safety Podcast with Sel, I share my perspective of the soon to be formed Ministerial Commission of Enquiry which will aim to probe and tighten the loose ends of the mining legal framework. I feel the explosion presents a good case to look at the entire OSH legal framework in a holistic approach rather than a blanket approach that only focuses on the mining sector at the neglect of other sectors such as the road transport sector, construction sector and the downstream oil and gas sector which equally face the high unacceptable rate of incidents which are of very high consequences.
