Eyinatayo Iluyomade, a 19-year-old Lagos-based comedian, has been arrested and charged to court for saying an expensive joke. The skit maker was alleged to have dropped a threat note of robbery at First Bank’s Sabo branch counter, in Ondo town, on Friday. The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has warned the public against buying refurbished Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders from unscrupulous people.  The Service wants Ghanaians to be safety conscious and wary when purchasing such cylinders. At least 41 people have died in a fire at a church in the Egyptian city of Giza, officials say. An electrical fire broke out as 5,000 worshippers gathered for mass at the Coptic Abu Sifin church, security sources told Reuters. One person is feared dead, while seven others have sustained injuries after a vehicle belonging to the Ajumako campus of the University of Education, Winneba crashed into a tricycle on the Ajumako-Techiman road. The injured, including some children, are receiving treatment at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital. The Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service has revealed that at least 1,443 lives were lost in road crashes between the period of January and July, 2022. A radio presenter with Ke FM at Kpasa in the Oti Region together with his five friends has sustained varying degrees of injuries after a gas cylinder in their room exploded. An 18-year-old Kronum resident has been discovered dead following a fire outbreak in the Ashanti Region’s Afigya Kwabre South District.
