At least 13 people were killed and 41 others injured after a fire swept through at a nightclub in Chonburi province in south-eastern Thailand. Government has decided to lift the ban it imposed in 2017 on the construction of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) stations. The decision was arrived at Cabinet’s 35th sitting held today, Wednesday, August 3, 2022. This also follows the ongoing strike by Tanker Drivers and LPG Marketing Companies over the issue. Fourteen passengers are feared dead in the Central Region following a head-on collision between a tipper truck and a commercial Nissan Stanbic bus.
