The driver who hit and killed seven children at Ankaase in the Krachi West District of the Oti Region has been arrested. “The driver is now in police custody for further investigations to be carried out,” the Municipal Chief Executive for Krachi West, Emmanuel Jalula Kajal, said to Citi News. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Deputy Secretary for the Kintampo South constituency has died in a fatal accident on the Kintampo-Techiman road. The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday afternoon, three days after Issah Sibawe tied the knot. There is a desperate search for an observer who was on board a fishing vessel that sank between the sea waters of Elmina and Takoradi on Saturday, May 7.
